Lela Llatch Lloyd Memorial Museum
Plans for the Lela Latch Lloyd Memorial Museum have been announced recently by a non-profit corporation headed by Dr. Duane Hale. The museum is to be located in the Old City Hall building in Cisco, Texas and donations of photography, memorabilia and funds to restore the building will be appreciated. Cisco's Old City Hall will be the home for Cisco's new Museum. This is a project overseen by Dr. Duane Hale and Jerry Eckhart. There are plans to remodel and restore the old building to its former grandeur. The building boasts an auditorium on the upper floor. There is a new mural that has been painted on the backdrop of the stage, which shows places of historical importance for the Cisco area. .Dr. Hale has also duplicated drawings of the famous map rocks that have been found in the area on one of the walls in the museum.
